My main career focus is being able to be part of and contribute to a local community while flexing creative muscles. It was after thoughtful research that made me believe I can do that through UX/UI design. As a person who is always ready to excel at something new or get better at something familiar, I look forward to discovering solutions through design.
The UX/UI field became appealing to me after discussing it with friends who had completed bootcamps. As I said before, flexing creative muscles is a big part of why I chose to get into this field. I love messing with the creative process. My strengths as a design lie in research, ideation, and executing proper design techniques. During my time at Denver’s radio station KGNU, I researched and performed proper promotion techniques while having my own show as an on-air DJ. I believe all of my previous experience required me to think on my feet and having to find solutions in sometimes unlikely places.
